i became a sonic fan during the summer of 2019 after playing adventure 2 on my family's dreamcast with my siblings. before that, i played a little bit of the sonic franchise as a kid - i liked it but it didnt stick with me like other franchises did. and during my teen years i hardly played sonic at all due to not really being interested, and because playing and liking sonic wanst cool apparently at that time. buut one random day i ended up finding a copy of sa2 in my house, and it didnt really stick with me at first, but after a while it eventually it grew on me little and little, and now im here as a sonic fan :p

sonic isnt a favorite of mine but i think hes an interesting mc. his design works r e a l l y well. character color pallets are something i can really appreciate, and sonic only having three main colors being blue, peach and red colors (from his classic design) makes his design soo good, because its so simple and effective. his personality and values were also fairly simple, but they worked for what they were trying to achieve. i think sonic is a nice character overall!

my favorite character. :> tails is cute, has a great character design overall, and has cool abilities. his flight is fun to use and ive liked his character arcs during the adventure era.

i like amy because of her design, specifically her modern design. red and pink look great together and the bits of yellow compliment those colors really well! ive liked amy for quite some time now after i got into the sonic games, and her storyline in sa1 made me like her a even more than i have before. i like that her story focused on being a hero in your own way, even if that means doing things that would be considered small like saving a small family of animals. Another thing i like about amy is the smaller details, like how she likes doing tarot card readings. :>

before i played adventure 2, i used to think shadow was an overrated character xd. I didnt really get why he was so popular at first. but after playing through his debut game and experiencing his character arc, i really understood much more. i started to really like his design; its slightly different from sonics and works well, especially with the color pallet. honestly i think shadow is the main reason why i like sa2 so much - he added a lot to the game and it wouldnt be the same without him.

prior to playing any of the adventure games, i assumed knuckles was always “the guy with a short temper” type of character since that was how he would be portrayed at that time. i didnt expect him to be any different in adventure 2. once i started playing hero story, i was surprised to see how calm he was throughout the whole story, and that really made me start appreciating knux as a character. i also liked his level themes, they added a lot of personality to him! :>

blaze is a character thats recently been growing on me. her design is cute, and the idea that she is basically an alternate version of sonic is a cool concept! i have yet to try sonic rush, but id like to sometime soon and im realy looking forward to it! id like to learn more about blaze and her dimension.

the latest character that caught my interest! Before, silver kind of just existed to me - i didnt really dislike him or anything but i also didnt really think much of him either. memes was one of the only things that would come to mind when i thought of him, and nothing else really, because i didnt know much about him. but recently, because of a fangame ive played, i started to grow more fond of him and his abilities! said abilities are really neat and super strong, and i also thought his storyline was cool as well.

sonic riders - just started playing this one recently. been wanting to give it a try for a lil while now. its pretty fun :>


sonic bts and ats - i plan to replay this one sometime ; played this game just a really small amount of times but its nice for what it is. has great music and feels good to play


sonic smackdown - intense sonic fighting fangame that is kinda similar to mvc. was hard at first but im starting to understand it more as i play more


adventure 1 - started this but havent finished it yet due to being super distracted by a bunch of other things. i plan to revisit it one of these days
